LR Vicenza Virtus

LR Vicenza Virtus, whose history dates back to March 9, 1902, with the founding of the Associazione Del Calcio In Vicenza, is an emblem of football in the Veneto region and one of Italy's most time-honored clubs. Popularly known as the Biancorossi for their traditional white and red colors, the team has forged an identity based on fighting spirit and passion, reflected in the fervor of its fans. Their home is the Stadio Romeo Menti, a venue with a capacity for over 13,000 spectators that has witnessed countless sporting battles.

Throughout its existence, Vicenza has navigated various tiers of the Italian league system, reaching the prestigious Serie A on multiple occasions. One of the most glorious milestones in its history is the conquest of the Coppa Italia in the 1996-97 season, an achievement that resonated throughout the country. Furthermore, the club finished as Serie A runners-up in the 1977-78 season, with the legendary Paolo Rossi among its ranks. After a period of difficulties that culminated in the bankruptcy of Vicenza Calcio in 2018, the club was refounded as LR Vicenza Virtus, ensuring the continuity of its legacy and the city's football representation. This rebirth has allowed the tradition and pride of the Biancorossi to remain present in the Italian football landscape.
